Cycle through the peaceful forest, surrounded by ancient beech trees and unspoilt nature.

An immersive experience in the heart of the Gargano National Park, discovering the magnificent Foresta Umbra, one of Puglia’s most precious natural areas. Its ancient beech forests are part of the UNESCO World Heritage site dedicated to the Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and Other Regions of Europe.

The meeting point is at 10:10 am at Elda Hotel, in the heart of the Foresta Umbra, where the bikes will be handed over and participants will get ready for the tour.

At 10:30 am, the guided ride begins, following trails and roads surrounded by greenery, majestic beech trees, centuries-old oaks and beautiful natural landscapes.

During the tour, you will discover some of the most fascinating places in the Foresta Umbra, including the Falascone Nature Reserve, Laghetto d’Umbra, Cutino d’Otri, Caserma Murgia and the Deer Reserve.

Several stops are planned along the route, offering the opportunity to learn more about the forest’s nature, wildlife and local history.

The tour is also suitable for families with children and can be enjoyed by e-bike, with an easy level of difficulty, or by mountain bike, with a moderate level of difficulty. The pace of the tour will be adapted to the characteristics and abilities of the group.

The return to Elda Hotel is scheduled for approximately 1:00 pm. At the end of the experience, guests can choose to stay for lunch at the hotel. Lunch is not included in the tour price.
